Synopsis of Bill

House Bill 1225 appropriates $500.0 from the general fund to Legislative Council Service for

legal and technical services related to the redistricting of the districts of the New Mexico House

of Representatives.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS

The appropriation of $500.0 is for expenditure in fiscal years 2008 and 2009 and is a

nonrecurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining

at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
