if they are used for other purposes.

Adobe PDF versions include all attachments, whereas HTML versions may not. Previously issued FIRs and

Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 52 inserts a new section of the Election Code which states ballots shall not provide
the option to vote a straight party ticket with one mark or selection.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
None
SIGNIFICANT ISSUES
Senate Bill 52 would remove the option of a single mark on a ballot to vote a straight political
party ticket. To vote a straight political party ticket, the voter must cast a vote for the party’s
candidate in each contest where the party has a candidate.
