AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR TRAINING OF AT-RISK YOUTH IN TAOS COUNTY IN AMBASSADORSHIP, INTERNATIONAL SERVICE LEARNING, JOB READINESS AND EDUCATION SERVICES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to contract for training in ambassadorship, international service learning, job readiness and education services for at-risk youth in Taos county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund.
