Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 336 requests making an appropriation to fund a position in the San Miguel County
Clerk's office. Senate Bill 336 requests that seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) be
appropriated from the General Fund to the Local Government Division of the Department of
Finance and Administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2009 to fund a position in the San
Miguel County Clerk's office.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of seventy five thousand dollars ($75,000) contained in this bill is a recurring
expense to the General Fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
fiscal year 2009 shall revert to the general fund
SIGNIFICANT ISSUES
Sponsor’s office states that there is a budgetary shortfall with San Miguel County funds.
Sponsor’s office respectfully requests additional funding for San Miguel County Clerk’s office
from the General Fund
