    Your TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 29, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 12, strike "AND" and insert in lieu thereof a comma and after "OTERO" insert "AND VALENCIA".

     2. On page 1, line 19, strike “transportation” and insert in lieu thereof “homeland security and emergency management”.

     3. On page 1, line 20, after “roads” strike “and” and insert in lieu thereof a comma.

     4. On page 1, line 21, after “bridges” insert “, and infrastructure”.

     5. On page 2, between lines 5 and 6, insert the following new subsection:

          "C. One million dollars ($1,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal years 2009 and 2010 for relief for severe flood and other storm damage in the city of Belen and Valencia county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
