AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AN ENERGY AUDIT OF THE GALLUP-MCKINLEY COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT FACILITIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the energy, minerals and natural resources department for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to perform an energy audit of the Gallup-McKinley county school district facilities for the purpose of increasing energy efficiency and recommending design incentives and other energy-efficient measures. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
