Mr. Speaker:

    Your HEALTH AND GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 543

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 22, strike "November" and insert in lieu

thereof "December".

     2. On page 2, lines 7 through 10, strike Paragraphs (1) through (3) in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof the following new paragraphs:

                "(1) total federal matching funds received;

                (2) total county indigent funds received;

                (3) total other patient funds received;

                (4) total operating expense;

                (5) total capital expense; and".

     3. Renumber the succeeding paragraph accordingly.,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
