AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR EARLY VOTING SITES ON TRIBAL LAND.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of the secretary of state for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to assist in the establishment of early voting sites on Indian nation, tribal or pueblo land. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
