AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO PROVIDE SUICIDE PREVENTION RESOURCES AND SUPPORT IN TAOS, COLFAX AND UNION COUNTIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to provide suicide prevention services to youths and adults residing in Taos, Colfax and Union counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
