    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE EDUCATION COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR

 SENATE BILL 136

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 25, strike "an" and insert in lieu thereof "a".

     2. On page 2, line 1, strike "out-of-state resident" and after "veteran", insert "who is not a resident of New Mexico".

     3. On page 2, line 24, strike "continuously" and strike "the same" and insert in lieu thereof "a".

     4. On page 2, line 25, after the period, strike the remainder of the line and on page 3, strike lines 1 through 3 in their entirety.,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
