    Your CORPORATIONS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 340

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO NOT PASS, but that

SENATE CORPORATIONS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILL 340

DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 9, strike lines 21 through 25 in their entirety and

insert in lieu thereof:

    "A. The director may at any time examine all the relevant

books, records, papers, assets and liabilities of a licensee to

determine the licensee’s financial condition and business methods

relating to the tax anticipation loan refund facilitator.".

    2. On page 10, line 1, strike the remainder of the line.,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
