AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY TO SUPPORT THE BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN NURSING COMPLETION PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to assure access for area registered nurses who are completing the requirements for a bachelor's degree in nursing. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
