SENATE BILL 529

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 2, strike lines 8 through 22 in their entirety.

    2. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.

    3. On page 3, line 4, strike "shall oversee the veterans' services department,".

    4. On page 3, lines 6 and 7, strike "a continuing study of the programs, agencies, policies and issues" and insert in lieu thereof "hearings".

    5. On page 3, line 7, strike ", veterans" and after the second occurrence of "and", insert "veterans' issues".

    6. On page 3, strike lines 8 through 10 in their entirety and strike line 11 up to the period.

    7. On page 3, line 12, strike "of its findings and recommendations".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
