AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES PROGRAMS FOR THE EASTERN NAVAJO AGENCY IN MCKINLEY COUNTY.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the human services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to fund health, social service, behavioral health support service and justice programs, including substance abuse, mental health and intervention, prevention and treatment programs for Native American teens and young adults in the eastern Navajo agency in McKinley county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
