AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO DEVELOP A PLAN TO PRESERVE THE NATIONAL HERITAGE OF THE NORTHERN RIO GRANDE AREA.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of northern New Mexico state school for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to develop a plan to preserve the national heritage of the northern Rio Grande area. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
