AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE INDIAN AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT TO PROMOTE NATIVE AMERICAN YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AND SUMMER RUNNING CAMPS.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Forty thousand dollars ($40,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to promote youth development and summer running camps for children living in New Mexico's Native American communities. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
