A MEMORIAL

REQUESTING THAT ALL TITLE INSURANCE BILLS BE REFERRED TO THE APPROPRIATE INTERIM COMMITTEE OF THE LEGISLATURE FOR REVIEW DURING THE INTERIM.

     WHEREAS, several title insurance bills have been introduced this session that may conflict with each other and that have not been reviewed by an interim legislative committee;

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO that the New Mexico legislative council be requested to refer all title insurance bills to the appropriate interim legislative committee to review those bills, and the issues they raise, during the 2009 interim; and

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this memorial be transmitted to the New Mexico legislative council.
