    Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 3

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 4, line 8, strike “arts and cultural district”, and insert in lieu thereof “office of cultural affairs”.

     2. On page 4, lines 22 through 25, strike Paragraphs (35) and (36) in their entirety.

     3. Renumber the succeeding paragraphs accordingly.

     4. On page 5, lines 1 and 2, strike "one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "two million five hundred thousand dollars ($2,500,000)".

     5. On page 7, lines 11 and 12, strike "department of finance and administration's" and insert in lieu thereof "higher education department's".

     6. On page 7, line 13, after "programs", strike the line up to the period.
