    Your CONSUMER AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 21

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 3, strike lines 8 through 10 and on line 11, remove the brackets and line through "(a) first" and strike "(b) second".

     2. On page 3, between lines 13 and 14, insert the following new subparagraph:

                     "(b) second, students who have a parent who is an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States, whether serving in New Mexico or deployed elsewhere;".,

and thence referred to the EDUCATION COMMITTEE.
