Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
SENATE BILL 26
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 1, line 21, strike "twenty-three" and insert in lieu thereof "twenty-six".
2. On page 3, line 14, strike "and".
3. On page 3, line 16, strike the period and insert in lieu thereof a semicolon.
4. On page 3, between lines 16 and 17, insert the following:
"(23) a domestic violence survivor nominated by the New Mexico coalition against domestic violence;
(24) a representative from a children's advocacy organization; and
(25) a representative from a gay and lesbian organization.",
and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
