Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
SENATE BILL 84, as amended
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 2, between lines 8 and 9, insert the following section:
"Section 2. TERMINATION OF PROGRAM--DELAYED REPEAL.--The "one percent for the twenty-first century" program is terminated on July 1, 2020, pursuant to the provisions of the Sunset Act. The program shall continue to operate according to the provisions of the Public School Capital Outlay Act until July 1, 2021. Effective July 1, 2021, the provisions of Section 1 of this act are repealed.".
2. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.
