    Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO NOT PASS, but that

SENATE PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR

SENATE BILL 207

is reported WITHOUT RECOMMENDATION, amended as follows:

1. On page 5, line 14, strike "or".

    2. On page 5, line 21, strike the period and insert in lieu thereof "; or".

    3. On page 5, between lines 21 and 22, insert:

             "(4) a retired member employed by an affiliated public employer to fill a critical need of that employer; provided that:

                  (a) the retired member has reached maximum pension; and

                  (b) the affiliated public employer is a political subdivision with a population less than fifty thousand and the governing body has adopted a resolution declaring that the retired member will fill a critical need. The governing body shall file a copy of the resolution with the retirement board.".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
