AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE EAST TORRANCE SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Forty thousand dollars ($40,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for the New Mexico department of agriculture for expenditure in fiscal year 2011 for the east Torrance soil and water conservation district to conduct education and training programs, for general district operations and for a full-time staff position. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2011 shall revert to the general fund.
