Mr. Speaker:

    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 263, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 15, before the semicolon, insert "WITHIN TEN YEARS OF THE ARREST".

     2. On page 1, line 16, strike "REMOVING RESTRICTIONS ON" and insert in lieu thereof "MODIFYING".

     3. On page 2, lines 17 through 20, remove the brackets and line-through, and on line 17, before "drug", insert "alcohol or", and on line 18, strike "for drug".

     4. On page 6, line 6, strike "was" and insert in lieu thereof "is", and after "revoked", insert "at the time of the arrest".

     5. On page 7, line 20, after the period, insert "In order for the vehicle to be seized and subject to forfeiture pursuant to this section, the prior convictions must have occurred within ten years prior to the arrest.".
