Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
SENATE CONSERVATION COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR
SENATE BILL 53
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 1, lines 12 and 13, strike ", EXCHANGE OR LEASE OF STATE LANDS" and insert in lieu thereof "OR EXCHANGE OF STATE LANDS AND THE LEASE OF STATE LANDS".
2. On page 4, lines 2 through 5, strike Paragraph (16) in its entirety and insert in lieu thereof:
"(16) a link to the state land office's web site for information related to any sale or exchange of state land and the lease of state land for real estate planning or development purposes pursuant to Subsection A of Section 4 of this 2011 act;".
3. On page 7, lines 1 and 2, strike "for real estate planning or development purposes".
4. On page 7, strike lines 10 through 14 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof:
"A. At least thirty days prior to the execution of a conveyance for any sale or exchange of state land or lease of state land for real estate planning or development purposes, the commissioner shall publish on the state land office's web site documentation of the following items related to each conveyance:".
5. On page 8, line 8, strike "the sale, exchange" and insert in lieu thereof "any sale or exchange of state land".
