Your RULES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
SENATE BILL 54
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 1, line 11, strike "MEMBERS" and insert "A
REPRESENTATIVE OF AN APPRAISAL MANAGEMENT COMPANY".
2. On page 1, line 12, before "AMENDING", insert "REDUCING THE
NUMBER OF PUBLIC MEMBERS TO ONE;".
3. On page 1, line 23, remove the brackets and line through
"seven" and strike "nine".
4. On page 2, lines 1 through 25 and on page 3, line 1,
remove the brackets and line-through.
5. On page 2, line 16, strike "Two members" and insert in lieu
thereof "One member".
6. On page 2, line 17, strike "members" and insert in lieu
thereof "member" and after "been" insert "a".
7. On page 2, line 18, strike "appraisers" and insert in lieu
thereof "appraiser".
8. On page 2, between lines 21 and 22, insert the following
new subsection to read:
"F. One member shall be a New Mexico resident and a
representative of an appraisal management company as defined
pursuant to the Appraisal Management Company Registration Act.".
9. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.
10. On page 3, lines 2 through 25 and page 4, lines 1 through
7, strike the underscored Subsections B through F in their entirety
and insert in lieu thereof a closing quotation mark.,
and thence referred to the PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE.
