AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SUMMER SCIENCE PROGRAM AT THE NEW MEXICO INSTITUTE OF MINING AND TECHNOLOGY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico institute of mining and technology for expenditure in fiscal year 2012 to support the summer science program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2012 shall revert to the general fund.
