    Your TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE FINANCE COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE

 FOR SENATE BILL 218

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 24, line 7, strike "eleven million dollars ($11,000,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "twelve million three hundred thousand dollars ($12,300,000)".

     2. On page 30, line 25, and on page 31, line 1, strike "thirty-two million four hundred eighty-four thousand dollars ($32,484,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "thirty million one hundred eighty-four thousand dollars ($30,184,000)".

     3. On page 31, line 5, after "statewide", insert ", of which one hundred eighty-four thousand dollars ($184,000) is for planning, designing and constructing improvements, chip sealing, widening and drainage to Superman Canyon road in McKinley county".

     4. On page 31, between lines 21 and 22, insert the following new section to read:

     "SECTION 28. UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO PROJECT--SEVERANCE TAX BONDS.--Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1 of this act, upon certification by the board of regents of the university of New Mexico that the need exists for the issuance of the bonds, one million dollars ($1,000,000) is appropriated to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico to construct, renovate and equip the health science education building at the university of New Mexico in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county.".

     5. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
