    Your CORPORATIONS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 356

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 12, strike "OTHER WINEGROWERS" and insert in lieu thereof "OUT-OF-STATE WINE PRODUCERS".

    2. On page 1, line 25, after "director", insert "; provided, however, that, for purposes of determining annual production and compliance with the fifty percent New Mexico grown provision of this subsection, the calculation of a winegrower's overall annual production of wine shall not include the winegrower's production of wine for out-of-state wine producer license holders".

    3. On page 2, lines 3 and 4, strike "on a winegrower's premises".

    4. On page 2, lines 6 and 7, strike "in this or another state" and insert in lieu thereof "or an out-of-state wine producer holding a permit issued by the federal alcohol tax unit of the internal revenue service and a valid license in a state that authorizes the wine producer to manufacture, produce, store or sell wine".,

and thence referred to the CONSERVATION COMMITTEE.
