                           as amended, with emergency clause

AMENDMENT sponsored by SENATOR MARK BOITANO

     1. On page 3, lines 1 and 2, after the word "like", delete "but not a real estate sales contract that is otherwise binding under New Mexico law,".

     2. On page 3, line 7, after the word "residence", insert "mortgage does not include a real estate sales contract that is otherwise binding under New Mexico law".
