SENATE JOINT MEMORIAL 7
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 1, line 11, strike "PUBLIC EDUCATION DEPARTMENT" and insert in lieu thereof "DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH".
2. On page 2, line 7, after the semicolon, insert "and".
3. On page 2, between lines 7 and 8, insert the following:
"WHEREAS, the department of health's obesity prevention program is charged with examining children's nutrition in New Mexico;".
4. On page 2, line 9, strike "public education" and after "department", insert "of health".
5. On page 2, line 11, after "to", insert "examine the work of the student nutrition task force and continue to".
6. On page 2, line 15, strike "eleven" and insert in lieu thereof "twelve".
7. On page 2, line 25, after the semicolon, insert "one public school cafeteria manager, appointed by the secretary of public education;".
