HOUSE BILL 14

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 3, line 21, after the comma, strike the remainder of the line, strike line 22 through "skills" and insert in lieu thereof "an assessment approved and provided by the department that measures the acquisition of reading skills, including phonological awareness, phonics, spelling, reading fluency, vocabulary and comprehension".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
