AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO FILM DIVISION OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT FOR A FILM DOCUMENTARY PROJECT ON THE CHINA-BURMA-INDIA THEATER OF WORLD WAR II AND THE CONTRIBUTION OF NEW MEXICO'S VETERANS.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Forty-eight thousand dollars ($48,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico film division of the economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year 2013 to support the production of the film documentary "China-Burma-India: The Forgotten Theater of WW II", which features the contribution of New Mexico veterans and is an integral part of the Native American studies curriculum in universities worldwide. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2013 shall revert to the general fund.
