AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NEW MEXICO HIGHLANDS UNIVERSITY TO PROVIDE OUTREACH SERVICES AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR WATERSHED RESTORATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico highlands university for expenditure in fiscal year 2013 to provide outreach services and technical assistance for watershed restoration on forest and landscape levels not available elsewhere in the state. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2013 shall revert to the general fund.
