AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL TRAINING FOR INDIVIDUALS ATTEMPTING TO ATTAIN THEIR GENERAL EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT CERTIFICATES.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2013 to fund educational training in a class A county with a population greater than six hundred thousand people for individuals attempting to attain their general educational development certificates. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2013 shall revert to the general fund.
