AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE OPERATION OF A SOUTHERN REGIONAL CRISIS TRIAGE FACILITY FOR THE EVALUATION AND DIVERSION OF PEOPLE LIVING WITH MENTAL ILLNESS OR DISABILITY.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five dollars ($5.00) is appropriated from the general fund to the human services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2013 for the operation of a southern regional crisis triage facility located in Dona Ana county that would serve as a pilot model for the evaluation and diversion to appropriate facilities of people living with mental illness or disability. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2013 shall revert to the general fund.
