    Your TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 4

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 2, lines 15 through 17, under the Other State Funds and the Federal Funds columns, strike all numbers and insert in lieu thereof:

                      "21,150.6          4,461.3

                       97,916.1        246,469.8

                       49,793.5        153,494.5".

    2. On page 2, line 18, strike "341.0" and insert in lieu thereof "359.0".

    3. On page 2, between lines 18 and 19, insert the following:

    "The other state funds appropriations to the programs and infrastructure program of the department of transportation include eight million three hundred sixty-eight thousand four hundred dollars ($8,368,400) for maintenance, reconstruction and related construction costs of state-managed highways.".

    4. On page 3, line 3, strike ">250,000" and insert in lieu thereof ">275,000".

    5. On page 3, line 4, strike ">1.2" and insert in lieu thereof "≥1.3".

    6. On page 3, line 7, strike ">80%" and insert in lieu thereof ">70%".

    7. On page 3, lines 16 through 18, under the Other State Funds column, strike the numbers and insert in lieu thereof:

                      "92,524.4

                         46,120.2

                       101,023.4".

    8. On page 3, line 19, strike "1,804.0" and insert in lieu thereof "1,822.0".

    9. On page 4, line 2, strike ">".

    10. On page 4, lines 10 and 11, under the Other State Funds column, strike the numbers and insert in lieu thereof:

                      "23,793.0

                          5,115.4".

    11. On page 4, line 14, strike "241.0" and insert in lieu thereof "250.0".

    12. On page 4, line 16, strike "<100" and insert in lieu thereof "<95".

    13. On page 4, line 17, strike "<15%" and insert in lieu thereof "<11%".

    14. On page 4, line 18, strike "<8" and insert in lieu thereof "<6".

    15. Revise all totals and subtotals to correspond with these amendments.,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
