AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE DELIVERY OF COMMODITIES FOR SCHOOL MEAL PROGRAMS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the human services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 and subsequent fiscal years to provide for the delivery of commodities for school meal programs to elementary and secondary schools statewide. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
