FOR THE LEGISLATIVE HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE

AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER TO PLAN A COLLEGE OF PUBLIC HEALTH.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 for the health sciences center to plan a college of public health. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
