    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 208

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, lines 13 and 14, strike "PROFESSIONAL MENTAL HEALTH" 

     2. On page 2, line 3, strike "professional mental health".

     3. On page 2, line 21, strike "professional mental health".

     4. On page 3, strike lines 8 through 11 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof the following new paragraph:

                "(2) "licensed counselor or therapist" means an individual whom the board of social work examiners has licensed as a social worker pursuant to the Social Work Practice Act or whom the counseling and therapy practice board has licensed or otherwise authorized pursuant to the Counseling and Therapy Practice Act to practice as a:

                     (a) professional mental health counselor;

                     (b) professional clinical mental health counselor;

                     (c) licensed marriage and family therapist;

                     (d) professional art therapist;

                     (e) registered independent mental health counselor;

                     (f) mental health counselor;

                     (g) registered mental health counselor;

                     (h) licensed mental health counselor;

                     (i) licensed associate marriage and family therapist;

                     (j) alcohol and drug substance abuse counselor;

                     (k) alcohol abuse counselor;

                     (l) drug abuse counselor; or

                     (m) substance abuse associate;".
