AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO CONTRACT FOR SERVICES TO TREAT VETERANS SUFFERING FROM POSTTRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 to contract for services to treat veterans suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder with modalities used to treat anxiety, pain and other medical problems associated with posttraumatic stress disorder. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
