    Your BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 235

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 3, between lines 14 and 15, insert the following new section:

    “SECTION 2. The department shall annually report to the revenue stabilization and tax policy committee the aggregate amount of deductions taken pursuant to this section, the number of taxpayers claiming each of the deductions and any other information that is necessary to determine that the deductions are performing the purposes for which they are enacted.”

    2. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.,

and thence referred to the TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE.
