AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE RENEWABLE ENERGY TRANSMISSION AUTHORITY DEVELOPMENT FUND.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the renewable energy transmission authority development fund for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 and subsequent fiscal years contingent upon enactment of legislation during the first session of the fifty-first legislature to create the fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
