    Your CONSERVATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE ENERGY AND NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE

      SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL 279, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 12, after "DEFINITION", insert "; REPEALING SECTION 71-6-7.1 NMSA 1978 (BEING LAWS 2007, CHAPTER 38, SECTION 5)".

    2. On page 1, line 19, remove the brackets and line-through.

    3. On page 3, between lines 15 and 16, insert the following new section:

    "SECTION 3. REPEAL.--Section 71-6-7.1 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 2007, Chapter 38, Section 5) is repealed.".
