AN ACT

RELATING TO TAXATION; EXTENDING THE SUSTAINABLE BUILDING TAX CREDIT FOR TEN YEARS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. Laws 2007, Chapter 204, Section 21 is amended to read:

     "Section 21. APPLICABILITY.--

          A. The provisions of Sections [1 and 2 of this act] 7-2-18.8 and 7-2A-19 NMSA 1978 apply to taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2008.

           B. The provisions of Sections [3 and 4 of this act] 7-2-18.19 and 7-2A-21 NMSA 1978 apply to taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2007 through December 31, [2013] 2023.

          C. The provisions of Sections [5 and 6 of this act] 7-2-18.20 and 7-2A-22 NMSA 1978 apply to taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2008 and ending on or before December 31, 2012."
