SENATE BILL 149, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 19, after the semicolon, strike the remainder of the line.

    2. On page 1, strike line 20 in its entirety.

    3. On page 1, line 21, strike "EXPENDITURES FROM THE FUND;".

    4.  On page 2, line 17, after "comparable", insert "or equivalent".

    5. On page 9, line 15, strike the closing quotation mark.

    6. On page 9, between lines 15 and 16, insert the following new subsection:

    "I. The DNA oversight committee may award grants and loans pursuant to Section 29-16-13 NMSA 1978."".

    7.  On page 9, line 20, strike "When" and insert in lieu thereof "Each time that".

    8.  On page 10, line 3, after "collect", insert "from the covered offender".

    9. On page 10, line 8, strike "--PROCEDURE--ACCOUNTING".

    10. On page 10, line 17, remove the brackets and line-through and on lines 17 and 18, strike the underscored language.

    11. On page 11, line 5, after the period, insert a closing quotation mark.

    12. On page 11, strike lines 6 through 21 in their entirety.
