AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A REPORT REGARDING THE MIDDLE RIO GRANDE WATER SUPPLY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of the state engineer for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 to prepare and distribute a report regarding the maximization of the water supply in the middle Rio Grande. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
