AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR EDUCATIONAL TELEVISION AT STATE UNIVERSITIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--

          A. The following amounts are appropriated from the general fund to the boards of regents of the named universities for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 to sustain current operations of their educational television stations:

                (1) one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for KENW at eastern New Mexico university;

                (2) one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for KNME at the university of New Mexico; and

                (3) one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for KRWG at New Mexico state university.

          B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
