AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR NATIVE AMERICAN STUDENT INTERVENTION AND RETENTION.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($275,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 to fund Native American student intervention and retention. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
