AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE PUBLIC EDUCATION DEPARTMENT FOR A PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAM IN THE SANTA FE PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 to contract for a performing arts program for students ages six through sixteen in the Santa Fe public school district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
